Why Active?

Active is a cloud platform workpapers and financial reporting solution designed to automate routine tasks and streamline job preparation and the review process. It features a full web interface with deep integration with Microsoft Excel, allowing for seamless data flow and audit trails that capture all changes made by your team.

Please note, you will be required to review and update your existing workpaper process. For example, instead of downloading an Excel workbook and saving it into your document management system, you'll work directly within the Active platform.

If required, you can continue to edit existing Smart Workpapers Excel workbooks to the extent that Microsoft Excel allows. However, any functions that rely on the Smart Workpapers Excel add-in will no longer work - click here for more information.
