NEW FEATURES
Introducing Binder Workflow Automations

Streamline your workpaper process and ensure key steps are never missed with our new Binder Workflow Automations. Firm administrators can now create powerful, rules-based automations to automatically change a binder's status based on specific triggers. You can also configure automated email notifications and set up a helpful prompt to remind users to export a binder when it reaches its final status. This feature is designed to reduce manual oversight, ensure consistency, and keep your jobs progressing efficiently.

You can configure these new rules in Workpapers Admin -> Preferences.

Bulk Upload and Link Documents

A highly requested feature is here! Save significant time preparing your binders with our new bulk document workflow. You can now upload all your source documents at once and then efficiently link them to multiple accounts from a single screen, dramatically reducing clicks and repetitive work.

To get started, simply click the new + Add Documents option from the + Add menu in the binder's Index.

Then, follow the familiar process of selecting the documents you want from your linked document management system, or uploading multiple documents via the Upload Docs option. Once this process is done, you will be taken to the redesigned Documents page in the binder, where you can begin the process of attaching the newly added documents to the various sections or accounts in the binder.

On this page, you can now also attach a document to multiple accounts and sections.

IMPROVEMENTS

Email Notifications History and CC Recipients

Along with automated email notifications, we now display the last email notification sent via the Notifications feature in a binder, as well as a history log all previous emails. This will easily give you visibility over all communications made in the binder.

To improve clarity for recipients, you can now specify Cc recipients on notifications. This makes it clear who is expected to take action (To) and who is being kept informed (Cc).

At-a-Glance Information for Collapsed Accounts

We've made the Trial Balance Index cleaner and more informative. When record rows are collapsed under an account, you'll now see a clear summary including a count of the records, as well as any open notes or queries. To speed up your workflow, we've also added the ability to update the status of all items under an account with a single click directly from this collapsed view.

Insert Multiple Rows in Excel

To speed up your work in Excel, the "Insert Row Below" function in our add-in now allows you to specify exactly how many rows you want to add at once, saving you time and repetitive clicks when building out your workpapers.

IMPROVEMENTS
Inheritance of Taxonomy Codes

This improvement will allow taxonomy codes to be inherited from their parent accounts based on their location within the chart of accounts. Taxonomy codes can now also be used when setting up matching rules.
