Product Update

IMPROVEMENTS

We're excited to announce a series of enhancements designed to make the annual rollover process faster, smarter, and more flexible. These updates give you better context during the rollover process and help to reduce manual work.

MORE CONTROL OVER SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS

You now have granular control over which supporting documents are carried forward into a new period.

  • When rolling over records, you will now be shown a list of all attached supporting documents within the bulk edit modal. You can easily select only the documents you wish to bring across to the new binder.
  • Previously, all documents were rolled over by default, requiring you to manually find and delete the unwanted files. This change gives you more control upfront and saves significant time on clean-up.
  • Additionally, you can now mark individual documents for rollover directly from the document preview modal, making it easy to manage files as you work.
SMARTER ROLLOVER FOR ACTIVE LEDGER-CONNECTED BINDERS

We've streamlined the rollover process for binders connected to Active Ledger & Reporting.

  • When you roll over an Active Ledger-connected binder, we will now automatically select the same ledger file as the connection source.
  • This takes you straight to Step 2: Confirm Columns in the binder creation wizard, allowing you to simply select the dataset for the new year and continue, saving you time and clicks.
CLEARER SOURCE SELECTION FOR OTHER CONNECTIONS

For binders that aren't connected to Active Ledger (like Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks), we've made it easier to find the correct source file.

  • In Step 1: Select Source File of the wizard, we now display a 'Previously Connected' tag on the source that was used in the prior period, making it easy to identify and select with confidence.
CARRY FORWARD EXTERNAL LINK INFORMATION

Re-linking data between binders is now much easier.

  • When you roll over a record that was previously linked to external fields or accounts in another binder, we now display information about the prior year's link.
  • This provides the context you need to quickly and accurately set up the same link in the current period without having to manually search for the information.
IMPROVEMENTS
  • We've updated the user interface to make it easier to see which policies and disclosures are included in the Notes section by default when editing a financial report. These visual enhancements provide greater clarity and a more streamlined editing experience.
  • Users can now merge pages within their financial report. Simply select the 'Merge with Previous Page' tick box to combine the selected pages in your financials.
  • Users will now see all the headers in their Chart of Accounts that are available for swing accounts when formatting their financial reports, even if there are no accounts mapped to these sections. This allows more transparency allowing users to customise their financial reports with greater flexibility.
