This month's release introduces Periodic-to-Annual Rollover (Part 1) with secondary source binder selection, auto-repair of workpaper links on sheet rename, and ad-hoc worksheet preview from the Index. Content updates include direct drill-through from L06 General Ledger Analysis into Xero transactions, and a range of worksheet fixes across tax reconciliations and returns.

When rolling over a binder, you can now select a secondary source binder to include in the rollover. Workpapers, documents, and notes marked for rollover are surfaced from both binders, and you can choose exactly which records to bring into the new binder before inserting them.
Use this when you want to combine content from two prior binders into your new annual binder - for example, rolling forward a prior-year Accounts & Tax binder as your primary source while also bringing across relevant queries, documents, or workpapers from a recent Activity Statement binder.
This is the first stage of a broader rollover enhancement. We're continuously refining and expanding this flow - more to come in future releases.
What this means for you:
Renaming a worksheet no longer breaks navigation buttons or causes mismatched names between Excel and the Index.
Two changes ship together:
What this means for you:
Right-click any worksheet in the Index to preview it without opening Excel. The preview opens in the browser, so reviewers and managers can scan a worksheet's content without launching Excel or interrupting their review flow.
What this means for you:
We've streamlined the authentication experience for users signing in with the 'Sign in with Microsoft' option. Once you're signed into Active on the web, the Excel Add-In will recognise your session automatically - no need to sign in a second time when you open it.
We've also made broader improvements to the authentication flow to make it faster and more reliable overall.
What this means for you:
Please note:
This is being rolled out in stages and will take effect over the coming days. If you sign in using your email address and password, you'll still need to enter your credentials separately in the Excel Add-In.
