This month's release brings full transaction-level Xero sync — verify any figure without switching apps — alongside Document Reference Links for pinning supporting evidence directly to account balances, a new Transactions Comparison tool, and a Trial Balance debit/credit view toggle.
Active Ledger & Reporting's Notes and Disclosures Engine has been rebuilt for more reliable statutory disclosure generation, with a wider set of report authoring and asset reporting improvements.

Stop searching through pages of supporting documents to relocate a figure you've already found. Create references to any number, transaction, note or total, and return to it instantly.
When you attach a document as a record, Active automatically looks for a balance that matches the account balance. If a match is found, a reference is created automatically, and the account is reconciled immediately.
Create references anywhere in a document. Select + Add Reference, draw a box around the figure or section you want to mark, and save it with a label. Create as many references as needed on a single document, each with one-click navigation back to the exact location.
This is particularly useful for highlighting key figures for reviewers or marking items that aren't detected automatically.
The new Transaction Comparison Tool compares two sources of transactions side-by-side - like two linked ledger accounts, or a ledger against an external file - and then either identifies matches or surfaces any discrepancies. This means that your time can be spent resolving issues, not finding them.
